condition:

The carousel is in beautiful vintage condition and comes with its original box and tags. It appears to have seen very little use. The musical mechanism works: the carousel cranks, spins, and plays music.

A few parts were previously broken and have been repaired. The repairs are subtle, though one carousel horse’s leg was repaired and may be visible on close inspection. A small chip is also present on the top section; the missing piece could not be found. Please refer to the photos for a closer look.

These details don’t take away from this rare, stunning piece. It’s a truly beautiful carousel with so much charm.

VINTAGE HOME DÉCOR NOTE — PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING

This is a pre-owned vintage item and has had a life before arriving at Edition Styles. Due to the age and pre-owned nature of vintage home décor, items may show signs of previous use, age, handling, display, or storage. This may include light surface wear, scratches, scuffs, marks, patina, tarnishing, discoloration, fading, crazing, finish or paint wear, oxidation, small manufacturing irregularities, or other characteristics consistent with age and previous ownership.

We carefully inspect, photograph, and describe our vintage home décor to the best of our ability. Any notable flaws observed during our inspection will be disclosed in the individual listing description and/or shown in the photographs. However, vintage items are not new, and small, subtle, or age-related imperfections may be present even when an item is described as being in beautiful, excellent, or good vintage condition.

Please carefully review ALL photographs before purchasing. Photographs are an important part of the item’s condition description and are provided so you can examine its overall appearance, details, and condition. Unless specifically identified and stated in the individual listing, we do not guarantee exact material composition, manufacturer, production date, origin, artist, pattern, or method of manufacture. Descriptions of materials, styles, eras, and dates are based on available labels or markings, construction, appearance, provenance, research, and/or our best assessment of the piece. Unless specifically stated as confirmed, vintage dating and attribution should be considered estimates.

Measurements are taken by hand and are approximate. Slight variations may occur. Colors, finishes, textures, patterns, and decorative details may also appear somewhat different in person due to photography lighting, reflections, camera settings, editing, surrounding light, and individual screen/display settings.

For vintage items containing moving, mechanical, musical, electrical, lighting, hanging, mounting, or other functional components, functionality will only be represented as tested when specifically stated in the individual listing. Due to the age of vintage items, we cannot guarantee the future lifespan or continued performance of original or vintage components.
