Vintage 1950s–1970s Italian Style Openwork Ceramic Basket Trinket Dish

An absolutely darling vintage Italian openwork ceramic basket, dating approximately from the 1950s–1970s. Designed to resemble a miniature woven basket, this charming piece features intricate openwork detailing, a twisted basket handle, soft blue braided trim, and sweet dimensional floral and fruit accents in pastel pink, yellow, and green.

Such a lovely little piece for holding rings, earrings, jewelry, paper clips, or other tiny treasures. It would also make an adorable gift—fill the basket with a pair of earrings, candies, or other little goodies for an extra-special presentation.
